Your client is not my client

I don't hand out cards, I don't negotiate on the side, and I don't go around you next time. If your client wants me again, they call you. I can work under your brand if you prefer.

You're hiring a company, not a guy

Music DJ Academy & Events Inc. is the entity that signs. $1,000,000 per-occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate general liability, with the COI naming the venue and your company. W-9, contract and corporate invoice. You get them the day you ask, not three days before the event.

Send me the date, the venue and the hours and you'll have a number the same day. I know you have to answer your client before I answer you.

Several DJs on the same Saturday

There's a DJ school behind me. Three events on the same day, or a second booth — covered by people I trained, playing to the same standard.

Bilingual MC

I host in Spanish and English without it sounding translated. At a Florida wedding or quinceañera that decides whether the whole family connects or just watches.

I work to the timeline

I work off your run of show, coordinate with venue AV, photo and video, and I don't hijack the moment. Dressed for the event, no drama at load-in.

You send me the brief

Date, city, venue, hours and type of event. That's enough. If you already have the run of show, even better.

I quote within 24 hours

A firm number, with what's included and what isn't. You can forward it to your client as is, with your margin on top.

We confirm and I get out of the way

Contract, COI and deposit. After that I coordinate directly with venue production and you get on with the rest of the event.
